Why do a lot of people hate Skrillex lately?

idk who skrillex is.

i like dubstep, but skrillex is way too annoying with his beats and repetition.

People will always hate on something, Skrillex is the new target for mass hate. Just have to ignore the haters. I personaly love his music, listen to it daily. Just have to stay strong with your opinion on it. And if you like his stuff, check out Deadmau5 (Pronounced Dead-Mouse) or Nero.

Question is: why do a lot of people like Skrillex?

I loathe all dubstep. It sounds like somebody put on bad 80's dance music, and recorded robots fucking over it.

I just remember this massive hype about skrillrex, then i finally heard one of their songs like six months later, totally didnt see what all the fuss was about the song wasnt super bad, like it was hella better than "stupid hoe" but hardly much better. Don't know what the guy looks like, but i wouldnt judge his music off that.

The music to me sounds like chaotic, random, overly loud noise and does not sound pleasing or harmonious to my tastes.

Or in short, the music is awful.

Because his music is mostly electronic farts.

Because his favourite instrument is the Macbook Pro :D that's why people hate him.

of course he's rich. the world is and always will be full of dumbasses to buy his "music" (no offense to anyone) just like Justin Bieber. mainly because it is easy to listen to something that you create on your Mac for masses. also his look is unbelievably terrible, why is he trying so hard to look like a hipster? doesnt he know that's a mainstream now too? :)
