I closed it because this has been happening the whole sale, and there have been other threads made about it. It's nothing. Just Steam being weird like usual. During sales, there is a greater proliferation of repeated threads about the same topics, etc., and we try to keep it down by closing some of them.

I'm on the forum daily and I've never seen a topic about this particular bug, I would have liked to dig a little and pinpoint on the bug to know if I was supposed to get a Guest Pass for something or if it's just Steam acting up.

I'm trying to figure out what the bug is about this "Guest Pass" I supposedly received earlier today.
Did anyone get a Guest Pass for some game appear for real in their inventory during the sale ? (or any other time)

Hi,
When I crafted a Summer Adventure Badge today I got a Steam Popup which came up basically saying I received some kinda Guest Pass for a game. There's nothing telling me what game it's for and when I clicked on the "Manage Guest Passes" it brought me to my gift inventory but there's nothing new there and no guest pass to be found.
Anyone else got something like that and what are guest passes anyway ?
