Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 On An Android Tablet?

You guys seem the most likely to have tried this so:

I've plugged a Cordless RumblePad receiver into a crappy Visual Land Connect android (4.0) tablet. Amazingly, the D-pad and left stick work, but all of the buttons appear to be either Enter or Backspace and no Gamepads are listed in Input Methods under Settings.

Anybody got any suggestions for me to get this thing at least key programmable?
