I'm from the US and was able to redeem on Steam just fine. It's downloading right now, so I'll see how it plays later today.
Edit: Tried it out just now. It works. All the DLC downloads with it, the game runs fine, and it's not censored in any obvious ways.

Thanks very much for the heads-up. This is my most wanted game atm as I'm playing through Fallout 3 and loving it! I have just purchased it from the UK without issue and it activated fine. It's a great deal :-)

If it's the GOTY edition then yes, it's a good price as it's not often discounted these days. If you buy it be sure to install the Morrowind Overhaul 3 mod - brings it a bit more up to date! I replayed it last year and it was great :-)

The DLC adds some interesting characters that refer to the main quest + some sweet new weapons. I think 3 of the 4 DLCs relate to each other & they take you to new maps.

Ask the Steam support to remove the game from the library and add the uncut version to your account.

thank you, ticket is sent. Glad I didn't try to overwrite it in the first place, since now I read about people who did this and are still stuck with the cut version. So if anyone else has the same question: Better send ticket first and don't try to activate the uncut key until your cut version is deleted!

They deleted it and I was able to activate the ultimate edition. It is uncut now but of course the key of my old version has become useless (I knew that beforehand, just wanting to warn you. If you tell the support you are aware of this (like I did) they might do it faster.)

I didn't need it for me, as I'm not in Germany. I just wondered. Glad you got the uncut version; however, too bad about having to buy the same game twice (if that is what happened).
