Huge amount of Dota 2 giveaways? How?

I've seen that recently a very large number for Dota 2 Beta Keys are given away. Can someone tell me where can I get one of these too? Because my odds of success in winning one of these beta keys are quite low. And by 'quite' i mean really really low.

Valve recently just gave out a bunch of gift copies to people who were already in the beta. For example a friend of mine woke up and had 9 of them in his inventory. Try trading something at Steamtrades if you really want one. There are A LOT of people offering Dota 2.

it may be worth 5 to 10 bucks, but where do i get one? i've even tried to get it from dota2.com by logging in via steam and then simply join the beta, but whatever i do.. it redirects me to the blog...
