Wow thanks, I was able to snaggle a key (I have been looking for this for a while!). Sorry that Europeans are getting the shaft. I am going to log into my Steam account (once it's back up, I think Borderlands 2 took it out =p) via a European VPN to make sure Steam will accept it from an EU ip address.

Edit: Didn't work for me, but I don't know if it was a lockout or Steam acting up (the message was vague). However it gave me 2 gift passes that don't seem to have any limitations that I will make sure go to people across the ponds (Euro/Asian love)!

if you entered the steam survey of course you would get it, dota 2 sends invites to everyone who entered the steam survey

It appeared for me as well for filling out the survey, but for most people I believe they just get the spectator client (that's what I got anyway). It's let you watch games but not play them, as the name suggests - although it just shows up as "Dota 2" (however it includes the full game itself - lol I was kind of annoyed when I downloaded/installed 20someGB expecting to play an awesome game and then being stuck only getting to watch other people have fun =p).
