DON'T GIVE UP! for freaking sakes. don't. ever. i know its hard. ive wanted to quit writing for a while now. been through some pretty yucky depression and whatnot. i even decided i was going to quit one day... but i know and you know that i/we can't. maybe no one wants to read our books, maybe amazon is taking all our money and it seems like an insane amount of work to do for nothing. i mean why write when we can just imagine the worlds and the stories in our own heads, without doing any of the work? i mean youve already finished a book, gotten it up, sold some copies, so its not really about being able to do it anymore is it?

well, remember that time when that one character died on accident, or that one chapter just flew out and when you re-read it it was like reading something for the first time? or what about that one line no one will get because its just so genius in context of you and your life and there's no way anyone would know... think of all the stuff you and i will lose out on if we quit. we owe it to ourselves to never stop. even if we take a break for a while... omg we authors NEED to take a break from our own heads once in a while. but think of all those castles made of blank pages, and all those stories and lives that will fade into nothing if we dont keep building them.

just dont ever stop.
