Best thing you ever got out of a mystery key bundle?

The best thing I got from Mystery Key Bundle was a lesson to never ever buy them again.

Probably Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, I didn't get any other game that would be worth mentioning...

I got HITMAN 2 - Gold Edition from a Fanatical Mystery Madness Bundle in 2019. It was in the second 10-key bundle I bought, so I spent ~£13. I was especially lucky since HITMAN 2 was the only AAA game I was interested in from the list here.

Ironically this re-confirmed to me that it's not worth buying mystery bundles, and I haven't since.

I got Fallout: New vegas and Metro redux bundle.

My very first attempt at these, I got Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 Complete Edition.
So obviously I tried again the next day... and got a couple of games they usually put in dollar bundles that had already been given for free... and that was it for me.

But hey I got a wishlisted game on my first go so I'll count my blessings and never get another Mystery key again ;)

I got Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - Digital Deluxe Edition from Fanatical's Mystery Vault Bundle in September.

Once got a Rockstar key for GTA V in one mystery key kind of thing. No idea anymore what site but it was pretty cool. Never played it as I keep forgetting that I have it because it needs a separate launcher xD

Bought it once.. got nothing remotely interesting and never bought any again
If people would follow suit we could get rid of this plague that Fanatical has sworn upon us.

I think I haven't bought a single mystery key from Fanatical, so had to vote potato :)

Hitman 2 a year before it was in Humble monthly. Bought few more bundles after that but they were crap so I stopped.

Nothing since I don't buy such stuff, I rather spend money on something I know I will enjoy! ^^

Well, I got a Tomb Rider GOTY from a mystery key, which I consider an AAAAA+ game. Pity I got it so late you find it even inside the bags of chips...

Only ever grabbed different mystery bundles when I've had a chance to get a free one and the content of those free ones have just reinforced what a bad idea they are to buy. Sure not everything I've got has been bad, but it's mostly been things I already had or did not have any real interest in personally. Fanatical has not given out freebies of this kind, to my knowledge, but a few other stores do occasional mystery bundles as well, like GMG.

Never got anything serious from Fanatical, always literally wasted money. Not gonna buy ever agin. (i tried X "mystery" bundles)
to make it "worth it" i must buy another and get like 5 AAA latest rlses only :D

I got Call of Duty®: Black Ops III out of a GMG mystery bundle 4 years ago, and it was truly the best thing — because I didn't want it at all and neither did anyone I knew. But since it was such an expensive game, I didn't want it to go to waste so I ended up searching for something to do with it, and that's how I found steamgifts! :)

And it was my first giveaway.

As luck would have it though it had an undisclosed region lock so I had to delete it and remake the GA, lol. Hard lesson learned aside, I'm glad I got something too 'nice' to trash and not interesting to me at all or I'd probably have never stumbled onto this site.

My best finds would be Borderlands Handsome Collection (4 times), Abandon Ship, Outward, Kingdome Come Deliverance, Metro Exodus (twice), Bioshock Infinite, Blasphemous, The Falconeer, Pro Cycling Manager 2019...
But I definitely bought an unreasonable number of them and still wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

I got COD 4 Steam key from an older mystery key from Fanatical... I doubt there will be another day in the future to get something like that ever again.

I wouldn't know, they were all forgettable games

I've gotten a few other games as well.
I was shaken up in an accident about a year ago, and my memory is faulty.┐(´Θ)┌ (｡-Θ-｡)ooO(What? Did I have a bad memory to begin with?) However, although I like these games, I can't play them with joy because I don't own a good computer for earthlings.... 🎁ヽ(Θヽ≡ Select... Create GA.... ≡ノ´Θ)ノ🎁

If not for an unfortunate event this time last year, I probably would have bought a new computer.

Never bough a mystery bundle, but did on some occasions get some as a bonus to my purchase during some Fanatical promotions. Never anything worth mentioning, of course.

The 'AAA' bundle from one of the Fanatical mystery bundles... it came with Back 4 Blood, Deathloop and Monster Hunter Rise.

well, i saw what a friend got for a really nice 1€ key bundle for 10 keys ... it really wasn't worth it and so i never bought this sort of bundle, mix n match or full bundles were the type of bundle i bought. the only time i will buy a bundle if the games i want are more then 70% of the bundle or if the package is around 80% cheaper then usual

Mafia 3,i guess. My pc cant handle this game without fps drops and lagging here and there and a game itself is meh but hey, its AAA game
