In theory, you would get a gift link in your mail box, which could be redeemed on any account at any time. When redeemed, if the account already owns the current bundle, then this should increment the credit counter by +1. If the account doesn't already own the current bundle, then it should redeem the current bundle. That is the theory, I don't know if this works with this promo code.

It would be a weird restriction in my opinion: blocking the payment should not happen in theory, they could block the redeemal as +1 credit if that was their intent, and allow you to gift the June bundle to a friend.

The result is the same. it will only increase once and customers will be force-fed an IGN plus subscription, which for most people is kind of useless. At least we'll get better games, don't know about you, but at least for me the last 2 month were great.

You need to login via IGN to MapGenie. If you were using e-mail account with the same e-mail as IGN+ subscription has, it will merge both accounts.

I don't know if during payment, or when you log in, or if you accept cookies, but they can see your IP, save it and check if multiple accounts log in from the same location

I'm sure they have their ways but there are also ways to disguise your IP very easily. There are a lot of people with multiple accounts on HB and the fear they have of the grey market is not just based on regular people selling off their leftover keys so there are ways around it.
I think it's more than fair that they kill the keys abusers got. Now it's people who got scammed into trading for them or buying them who are getting screwed. Another good reason not to trade/buy second hand keys these days.

It's the compromise you have to make when you go with the annual sub. I prefer doing it that way cuz I don't have to worry about keys going out of stock or not getting a coupon for some months. Peace of mind beats the few dollars in savings (as long as you're buying an annual sub when they run deals on them)

Yeah that is why I ended up canceling my year sub when it ended this past dec/jan and I did that deal wiich was a deal for 5-6 months for 8.99 (paid monthly, if paused you lost it) thankfullky this month then it was back to the 12.99 price. I did get a coupon in the email to get it for like 7-8 but no games interested me so maybe ill see how this next month is.
