I'm on my sixth month of choice and have the extra discount, and don't want to lose it.
Edit: Also the last time I tried to gift someone a bundle, Humble Support never sent the gift, and threatened to close my account for "fraud" so I'm a little bit concerned here. :p

In theory, you would get a gift link in your mail box, which could be redeemed on any account at any time. When redeemed, if the account already owns the current bundle, then this should increment the credit counter by +1. If the account doesn't already own the current bundle, then it should redeem the current bundle. That is the theory, I don't know if this works with this promo code.

It would be a weird restriction in my opinion: blocking the payment should not happen in theory, they could block the redeemal as +1 credit if that was their intent, and allow you to gift the June bundle to a friend.
Interesting though, I wonder how IGN configured their promotion.

If you skip a month before the autocharge date (that is today), HB will not charge you.
