What games did you buy on Origin but the key also worked on STEAM?

AFAIK, it only works Steam -> Origin, not Origin -> Steam.

I think nothing works from origin to steam, most of the CD keys work the other way round though. I bought Burnout Paradise on Steam and it registered with origin.

I don't believe this would work as a method of sharing games to play co-op though, just in case anyone gets ideas :P

i can tell you the other way, i bought crysis warhead on steam and used steam key and activated it on origin also

The only games you buy from origin that give steam codes are ones that are steamworks (require steam) games to begin with.

If you didn't know all EA games no matter where and when you got them can be activated on Origin. (at least 99% of them)

If any of these games don't activate on Origin, you'll have to talk to EA Support through chat, for older games, you'll need to create an account on Pogo.com

Got Dead Space 2 on steam and the key worked on Origin as well:)

I bought The Walking Dead on Origin and the key activated fine on Steam.

Sleeping Dogs... basically Orgin was downloading a Steam installer with files from Sleeping Dogs to install in Steam. Of course - came with Steam key.

I don't think it works the other way around, if you got it on Origin, it works on Origin, if you got it on Steam, it'll work on both, at least that's how I think these EA games work

I haven't try using my retail Crysis 2 cdkey on steam. I'll try it later. Activated it on Origin alright.

So, no EA games. But most Square Enix, or The Walking Dead (good one, don't know about Activision's) will work on Steam.

OP for Mass Effect and Crysis/Crysis Warhead at least, you'll have to talk to support on EA's side but you should create a EA Classics account on pogo.com. Just a heads up.

only steam games activate on origin also not the other way around, games purchased from origin don't activate on steam.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I bought it on Steam, and I used it on Steam, but I tried Origin as well. No go. I found out any EA game after 2009 should work. I went to EA Support, and they put in the game into my Origin, even if I will never play it through Origin. :)

havent bought anything on origin, but i do have a copy of age of mythology that also can activate the PC version of the original halo
