My understanding from reading the EULA etc was that Humble ALREADY charged sales tax where applicable, and just took less of a cut where it has to charge the tax.

Well, as a lifelong, and hopefully soon to be out of that god forsaken state, resident of NJ, I got the message and all I have to say is that there has to be some way to get back at least a little of the millions that Christie funneled out of the treasury and into his own offshore private bank account.
As well as pay for his helicopter rides and the over bloated food bill he ran up. And all that Sandy money he stole too.

Over the summer, the US changed a law. Now, individual states are able to charge state sales tax on internet purchases from companies that are not located in that state.
The content of the email is true and legit. And US residents in many states are getting them from Humble right now. Expect nearly all states to follow suit pretty quickly.
No idea how Humble got the idea you live in NJ, though. That's the mystery here.
