THX 4 HELP!

I bought the steam link last sale.
I connected an xbox 360 controller and a wireless logitech k830 living room keyboard (which also has a touchpad).
The keyboard and touchpad work fine. But only basic functions, so special keyboard keys don't work. I haven't tried a mouse with extra buttons so I dont know about that..
There is also software http://store.steampowered.com/app/440520/ that claims that special buttons will work, but the reviews are mixed. (I haven't tried it myself)

You can stream your desktop, like if you alt-tab out of a game. or just add notepad.exe or something as non steam game to your list.
I haven't played around with it that much yet. But I did watch a movie via it.

I haven't tried using my pc's keyboard and mouse because it is in a different room. If you are in the same room, wouldn't it just be easier to connect a hdmi cable from your pc to your tv?

I hope that helps :)
