If you're talking about raccoons I personally think they're cuter than pandas or koalas but in the U.S. about 30% of all rabies cases come from raccoons so they're kinda worse than pandas in a way :(

I believe that the so-called adult "anti-vaxxers" have secret trauma about being poked by the needly and yet, for unrelated reasons, never developed capacity to understand abstract threats from the viruses or the long-term benefits of the vaccines. Good point, but it doesn't change the fact that there are already people who kept objecting to vaccines even before the current pandemic, even the simple flu shots.

Being against vaccines in general is pure stupidity. There are human and animal diseases that were completely eradicated thanks to them. Also survival rate of children skyrocketed thanks to vaccines and hygiene.
On the other hand - there are reasons why registering new drugs takes time. Iron curtain saved Poland from "wonderful" medicine for pregnant women - and thanks to that we don't have many adults who were born without hands nowadays.
Sweden is paying compensations for those who contracted narcolepsy after receiving vaccinations for the swine flu in 2009. These vaccines were rushed.
And registration for those RNA-based vaccines was also really rushed. I don't blame people who doesn't trust them. Governments are made by people. None of them or almost none of them is related to science + they can be bought. And there is astronomical amount of money involved. Money from my taxes btw. So the fact that my government is trying to convince or even force me to take it doesn't mean that it's actually good for my health xD
When it comes for companies that produces them - they will always try to sell their product. Every year I hear that I should get flu shot. I don't. And also I never had actual flu. On the other hand my friend gets flu shot every year and gets flu every year as well. Flu virus is changing constantly and it's almost impossible to made vaccine that will work against current version. Yet - it's advertised as life-saving xD

To be honest, the huge problem is pre-orders.....
Such a thing should be banned outright.. including crowdfunding... Is there actually any "innovative" product advertised on crowdfunding sites that actually got made and didn't just run off with money ? like 5 % of all of them ?
Same here - people get all crazy, pay unreal amounts of money for product thats not created and then get butthurt about product sucking... I mean, most sales probably wouldn't have happened if people would have seen the reviews and state of the game on launch day.. And publishers would actually think twice before publishing unfinished piece of crap..
as a side note with horrible opinions - I would actually love to see DLC's abolished. Another thing that has gone out of hand and publishers are using to simply milk costumers dry. I mean I totally understand that making games is becoming more and more time intensive.. it costs more to make them... but the DLC practice with 4 editions of single game and having bunch of "base game" stuff for a buck each which comes total to 300-400 bucks is just redicilous.

I think that asking for giveaway deletion shouldn't be allowed. Well... maybe once. Or twice. A few times max. Something along those lines. What's the point of having "not received" on our profile if we have the possibility to sweep under the rug any giveaway where the game couldn't be delivered for whatever reason? I'll never understand why having red marks seems to bother some people so much. Maybe CG should just get rid of that received/not received system since it doesn't really mean anything anyway.

Whelp, your idea is interesting but... I guess that the same people who would be against gibs deletion being prohibited would also disagree to having a deleted ga's count. From what I've read on this forum, some people seem to think that having a red mark is a punishment (not sure why) and would rather maintain a clean, perfect profile... even if said all-green profile is actually a lie. If your idea was to be implemented, that would be a stain on those people's profile and I'm quite certain they don't want that either.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And as commented in other thread. What is even point of not received, if usual result is giveaway deletion? Maybe it would be just simpler to automate the process. That is when giveaway is marked not received it automatically gets deleted. Making whole system fair and equal for everyone. As currently there is lot of pressure to not mark because of blacklisting or getting kicked from groups...

If the process was automated, that would mean less tickets to deal with, which would be a good thing for the mods. I'm not sure how this would make the system fair and equal for everyone tho.
Also, if marking a GA as not received would automatically delete said GA... wouldn't that make it harder for SG's support to detect new users who create giveaways for unbundled games just to troll the community? Or... there are possibly people who GA unbundled, expensive games hoping to get more subscribers on their social media without having the intention to deliver those games. We've all seen stuff like "please follow me on twitch, youtube, etc" in GA's description. Those people could keep on creating fake gibs without much fear of any consequence.

There is already slot system. So they can only do it a few times. And I don't see any difference between using key that might be bad and that is known to be bad. Also multi-accounts are banned, so it shouldn't be too big issue as it only happens once per such person.
You can share the keys in many key drop threads if you are unsure about them.

Yeah, it seems people really feel that they are justified to keep their "clean" record. Even if they know they screwed up. Somehow they shouldn't be punished for what they did. And somehow giving dodgy key is not their fault.
And at same time still complain about fake giveways, region restrictions and so on... When what they are doing is essentially the same...

Well, I kinda understand that people feel it's not their fault if a key they got in a legit manner turned out to be duped. We all know that some devs/publishers sometimes revoke old bundle keys. Still... getting a red mark because a key could not be activated for that reason is not a punishment. In my opinion, it only reflects reality, what happened: they could not deliver a working key, they get a not received. End of story. That's just how it's supposed to work. But I guess that some people cannot handle having anything less than a perfectly green profile.
