Broke my toe today. Whats your worst break?

Wow, lots of horror stories here haha. Makes me glad all I did was break a toe.

I have only had broken ribs, but have dislocated my shoulder and a lot of fractures (Feet, cheek, shin) But the worst was when I chipped my Knee Cap.

CollarBone. worst pain in my life. broke it during a BMX race and still got up and finished the race, it seemed to be just cracked at the time as it didnt really hurt but just felt weird. then as i was getting in the car to go to the hospital and i reached out for the gear shift with my right arm i felt and heard a loud POP and then i screamed like ive never screamed before or since. from that moment on it felt horrible. i was sweating bullets but freezing cold at the sametime and this was in the middle of the summer and it was like 90+ degrees F outside. felt like i was going to vomit but knew if i did it would hurt 10000x worse from the contraction of muscles so i just sat as still as possible and didnt speak at all. i just nodded my head slowly and someone there knew what was going on since their son had broken his before. i was able to keep my stomach down and got someone to take me to the hospital where i had to sit for 5+ hours before i finally got xrays and THEN got something for the pain. xrays sucked since i had to position my arm in different ways for the pictures and i could feel the bones bumping together ugh. anyway i didnt get surgery but the doctor said i probably should have since it didnt heal correctly and it hurts all the time and i cant sleep on my right side at all now. this was 6-7 years ago

oh and i have broken several toes, in comparison to the broke collarbone the toes felt like geting stuck wit ha tiny needle lol. id rather chop off a few toes than have to go thru the collarbone again.

While my Contact Dermatitis with steroid injection these past couple of days have been terrible, my Cellulitus was hell. It is like the violent older brother of CD and I got an allergic reaction to the IV formula. So I got laid up for over a week, constantly itchy and away from work. I was still itchy for a week after returning from the hospital.

i broke my soul

Broke both of the bones inside my leg when i was riding my bike, got my leg inside the wheel while driving downhill (no idea how) - had to go on croutches for 7 months, how boring. Thank god for games tho , without them i would play chess... Or even read a book geez how boring :S

It always hurts a lot when I accidentally bump one of my toes against a table or something, I can't imagine how much it would hurt if I break it!
How did you break it btw? If you don't mind me asking. :D

P.S. Oh and no, I've never broken any bones... yet!

My worst break was my Diablo 2 LOD cd, broke in the cd drive during a rather long session. Was gutted.

Fingernail

The worst thing that has happened to me is when I had a collapsed lung. I had to get surgery and almost died because it hurt to breath so I just didn't. Not too long after that I was riding on a go-kart or whatever and I flipped it and it rolled over me and went into my side and I got up gasping for air and passed out. All I really remember from that was seeing a random girl with her son watch me then just walk away.

Worst thing that I broke was when I was like 5 or so and broke my jaw.

Tibia. I was 13 y.o. so 6 months later i was already playing and running around.

I once broke bad and started producing and selling meth to support my family after my death

Leg and wrist when I got hit by a car when I was on holiday in Spain when I was 18.

Luckly, I haven't broken any bones yet.

I don't think it was a break, but I jammed my big toe over 2 years ago and it has yet to fully heal.

My shoulder in a car accident, still hurts years later.

left toe minor fracture
left wrist bad fracture
left shoulder minor fracture
left shoulder/arm joint fracture.

Yep that's right...all 5 fractures located left side of my body. Four out of these fractures resulted from weight-training. :/

Broke one of my toes as a tot, jumping off a couch. Can't remember which one though. Other than that nothing until about three years ago i did a faceplant off my bike (coming around a corner too fast, hit gravel, locked my brakes) which broke a little bit of the end of my nosebone. Also took most of the skin off of the my nose and left my generally bruised, bloody, and battered. The one thing that didn't have a scratch on it? My helmet, of course!
