Origin isn't bad anymore. It's lightweight, I can run installed games offline, it doesn't crash. The only big problems is fact that I can't buy DLC for Mass Effect 3 directly, and that there are no discount for those DLC. I mean now Mass Effect Trilogy costs 99 PLN (aprox. 31$) and DLC for ME3 - 5 PLN (1.5$) for From Ashes, all others 4000 Bioware points, or 160 PLN (over 50$) What is wrong with them? 100+ hours of gameplay for 30$ and another 10 for 50$? And even while there will be no more games with bioware points - they still won't let me buy DLC directly, which means no discounts, and the price 2 years after release still is the same as the launch day. (same goes for ME2)
On the plus side - I get one game a month for free.

Steam still has a much larger game library, and the DRM isn't as intrusive as Uplay, SecuRom, Tages, etc.

Well yeah, of course there are exceptions. I meant generally speaking. Steam by itself is not a bad DRM, it's just that some games have the additional layer of DRM - in which Valve does not have control over.

Actually, out of the services you've listed, I think I've struggled the most with steam when I used it for the first time.

It was the same with me. I've had an account for years now, but only actually been active at the start of this year.

Because I thought people would complain if I didn't give them that as an option.

Origin at least has great customer service, something that Steam greatly lacks. EA also let users who bought their games on Steam redeem free copies on Origin (though I don't think you guys necessarily would say this is a good thing). Also, their promotions like On The House and Game Time were pretty good.
That said, the client really needs a lot of work, and the catalog is still very limited.
Uplay, on the other hand, is the epitome of Ubisoft's distrust with its own user base. Not only do you have to be online all the time to play their games, but the client itself is a major resource hog. Pair that with an already resource-heavy Steam client, and there won't be enough power left to actually run some games. The client is also notorious for losing saved games over the cloud, full of annoying ads, and a terrible web browser for the store. And to top it all off, they probably have the worst customer service.
These are just my experiences, and your mileage may vary. I still very much prefer DRM free gaming, but Steam is almost the next best thing.

I have even managed more than 10 FPS increase by having uPlay overlay disable, WTF.

TBH Ubisoft games are much better played when pirated. It's a damn shame that Ubisoft actually makes good, heck even great, games. It's just that it's so evident that they hate their own user base, especially PC gamers.

Yeah, good thing I got Watch_Dogs on PC for free, otherwise I would have felt scammed. I hat to install the Realistic Mod in order for my GPU not to run out of VRAM (with textures at High, not even "Ultra") every 30 minutes!!!!!
WHAT THE FUCK, UBISOFT. No other game with a million times better textures ever made me run out of VRAM, not even games like Crysis 3.

What the fuck? Hell, the game doesn't even look that good without the mod. But then again with my experience with AC Black Flag, I'm not too surprised.

While it's true that Origin support has usually been somewhat efficient for me, every time I had to contact them was for something that should have worked in the first place but just didn't. (Like registering the key from a physical copy of a game for having a backup in my library.) And the only time I actually installed a game from Origin (Sims 3) it actually had to download and install 2 more patches (about 1 Gb to download) before I could play. Their promotions might be nice but they're only a way for EA to drum up interest toward their platform.
As far as uPlay go, yeah, you can't really do worse.

Steam is the worst cause it actually takes my money! :D
Comment has been collapsed.
uPlay, how can you people say Origin is as bad or even worse than that piece of shit DRM?!

EA is the worst as the company but as far as DRM client goes Origin works quite well. Only once did I have problem with it being offline for like 1 day, but at least they support works fast and client don't tend to crash. On the other hand as I like Ubi a bit as devs/publishers (love a lot of their games) Uplay ytself sucks major balls. It tends to crash a lot, crash games running on it on Alt+Tab, eats shitload of resources compared to Steam and Origin and have non-existent support like Steam.
TL;DR: Ubisoft > EA, but Origin > UPlay

I'm also a huge fan of Ubisoft's games, but I think the company is becoming much worse than EA right now, though thankfully they haven't crushed old studios with franchise-ending flops.
At least the likes of Activision, Bethesda, and Take Two don't have their own Steam competitors. Imagine what would happen, though.

Yeah, and voting EA, a VIDEOGAMES company, as the worst company of America isn't stupid or anything.
Not saying that they haven't done bad, but I've always considered Ubisoft a cheap and paranoid old ass. And be assured, people will again vote for EA as worst company of America... they just hate because it's the cool thing to do, like with IE or MAC or Windows 8.

Exactly. And actualy both EA and Ubisoft have made some amasing games,Assasins creed 2 is a masterpiace in my eyes. And if it wasnt for EA,who woud publish Mass Effect,Dragon Age,Crysis,Battlefield and even the early NFS whitch was pretty cool games.

Ppl have problem with EA not with Origin itself. Compared to UPlay Origin has been for a long time more stable with better support, consuming less resources and less invasive into a gameplay itself.
The fact that people hate EA as a dev and publisher doesn't mean that they must hate Origin as platform as well.

I've never had problems with Origin, I'm just bothered it exists and how EA won't release games on Steam anymore. Same goes to UPlay (the thing that it's mandatory for some games) but I have to say I also had no problems with it either. I only have three games on it though, and so far only The Crew is the problem since it likes to crash sometimes, but I think that has to do more with the game being in beta, than with the UPlay itself.
BTW why is Steam listed?
Comment has been collapsed.
As I mentioned before steam is listed just because I thought people would complain if I didn't give them the option.

My main issue with Origin is as my native language is English but I am currently living in a country where the native language isn't English and the language settings are set to autodetect based on the country you're currently in. This option is unchangeable. Just because I can read a second language doesn't mean I still wouldn't choose my native language by default.
Comment has been collapsed.
I disagree, I am in the same situation, and I have my Origin set to English just fine. It's in preferences.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's not new for me, this I've been having this issue for a couple years. I make it a point to download the "english" version of the game, and the client auto-detects my IP and bases the language on that. LUCKILY the games don't have the same problem, just the client and website.

The website is in English for me too, and displays currency in Euros, even though I am in China.

So everyone's always complaining about these drm services, so it got me wondering, which does everyone hate the most.
Strawpoll
I personally think uPlay is worse due to all the problems it has with new games and pre-orders on it.
