Indie game bundles is giving away 2000 free keys of the game break blocks, it might not be steam but its still something free.

The link above is to the spreadsheet with the keys.

Edit: Brotbaum kindly posted a way of activating the keys with out having to do it in your Desura client (though still need client to play, and an account with them)

I'm in compatibility view so there is a click-able edit button, which while is a bit slower to load pages is easier to edit.
