My big problem has always been accidentally giving the wrong games away. I can't tell you how many people have received extra games for free because I've screwed up in the delivery process. P

Back to your question, however, it's usually obvious from the beginning when someone isn't going to deliver on his or her promise. Just avoid such giveaways.

I've never won a game on any site and not had it come through. Although, I tend to avoid expensive giveaways unless they mention that they're actually giving something.

One of my wins was revoked a couple of days later. I had installed it and was ready to play the next day too.
