(QUESTION) How do you advertise a Steam group/curator?

Our question is if anyone got a suggestion on how to recruit members without paying money to different websites!

SG isn't to be used to make profit by being a curator.
Read SG's Guidelines, though basically this:

In any case, it is wise for you to read the "Guidelines" and "FAQ" once.

Your question is hard to answer.
Each group and curation must find the own way that fits to them.

From my own experience with promoting my tiny curation with different GA's i am able to say tha t it will bring nearly no followers.
The people join maybe your group to enter GA's but you will normaly not get much Followers.

My group isn't open for everyone because i don't want that people only join for GA's and i would say that handling is uncommon for the most curations.
But i prefer to pick which ones should have a high chance to win the GA's, i prefer to know the people at least a bit, that fits much more to "Masafors Group of Friends".

You can post your curation group in User Projects.

As others mentioned Group recruitment is to show people groups created to make group giveaways. Not general Steam groups. I will close this thread then.
