Well shit, I can't remember the last time someone just went ahead and asked me how I'm doing.
I'm kinda touched anyone thought of asking, honestly. :P
I've been doing... okay. The everyday side of my life is fine, but the work side has been pretty shitty, making my moral pretty low these last couple of weeks, which is a shame, really. I liked my job before, but the management changed, a lot changed, and I think I just "woke up" and realized how my job is crap. I've been working 1.5 years at minimum wage without even a hint about getting a raise. I feel like I deserve more since I work at least 2x more than I used to since the big changes.
So... yeah. I wish I could find a good company/brand/organization/group who would hire a Content Specialist with almost two years of professional experience to work part-time at home. But hey, you can't get everything in life, can you? :P
Anyways. This is a positive thread, I won't soil it with my dramas. How have you been doing?

Well, look at it this way brother. That's two years of experience you didn't have before and as a once hiring manager, was the amount I would look for in the relevant field. Time to get that resume all slick and shiney and start throwing it all around the Internet. I think it was Dave Ramsey that once said something along the lines of you can't truly be successful in a job your not fully happy or content with. I butchered that, I'm on mobile now but when I get back to my desktop I'll give you the nice full inspirational quote lol
I'm well! Thank you for asking good sir! I've started going back to school for the first time in a decade recently, so that's fun. We elected Trump as president, so that sucks. I'm participating in a march next month in Washington DC, so excited. :D

I've noticed a rising amount of negative posts and threads lately on SG. From sad and gloomy topics to rants and angry posts, it just makes me feel slightly depressed.
To counter the negativity, I created this 100% positive thread! The one rule of this thread - think and post positively!
