Same here. Site froze after refresh for like 15sec and then The Precinct was gone. Ah well.

They will never solve it, there is a known "trick" to edit the code of the page to reveal the confirm button before the vault opens. The admins know it and they have not patched it. A year ago there was a bug on the vault and only those who knew the workaround got keys for the games from that month. The admins openly talked about it without consequences.

If you try to get the best/more expensive game of the month refreshing the page you will never have success because it will be out of stock. The refresh takes more than 5 seconds, long enough for it to be depleted.

I wishlisted Pipistrello like a couple of days ago so I'm happy to see it popping up on AWA already, I'm 100% going for that one this month, let's hope Dune and System Shock 2 drive attention away from that one and I have a chance to actually get it XD

Dune and System Shock 2 are nice, but I never got anything good on regular Vault opening.

That's a nice selection of games. I'll likely go for Dune, or maybe just save my ARP. I like my DRP, I wish they would add DRP to the marketplace every month. :)

Interesting selection but apart from Dune I'm not sure yet if anything grabs me in particular. And even Dune I'm unsure if it is genuinely "single-player", more research required. 7am local time could be worse I suppose, though of course it would be that time if it's a vault I end up skipping 😅. Cheers for the heads up, completely forgot it's the 1st 🤣.

As an FYI though for any other AWA people who read this, if you picked up the System Shock 1 Remake from the vault in June 2023 (or pre-ordered it otherwise) then you should already have the System Shock 2 remaster in your account, it was a pre-order bonus at the time. Was looking at the reviews the other day and spent most of my lunch break wondering how I already had the game till I remembered 🤦‍♂️, didn't get a notification or anything.

Thank you - I had given up - but got a key just now

Thanks for the heads up mate, i was getting an error that keys might be out and i gave up. Thought maybe it was some bug still showing keys available. Anyway, just got one. Thanks again ;)

EDIT: At the time i got mine there were around 120 available.

Damn authenticator thing...

I guess I'm too late cos it says they're out of keys.

Got mine at 9 left. Wondering if the authenticator will be required for Game Vault. The way it looks, it will make it easier for bots (constantly monitoring the authentication code at the same time of vault opening).

Dell/Alienware software is such a fucking mess. The relay, the buggy games and now this app. Had to close it 3 times to get it to get even display the main page correctly. Becomes completely unresponsive every now and then except for the back button in the app Now it tells me I have to use the AWA app to enable the authenticator. I am reading this in the damn app!
Saw the keys tick down while trying to solve this and they are gone now ofc. smh

Tried open the app on my mobile, it's error:
"Error loading page
Domain: undefined
Error Code: 3
Description: SSL error: The certificate authority is not trusted"

Now they use mobile authentication code for giveaway, what happen if they introduce mobile authentication code for game vault? need to refresh webpage and this app part will also crash at that time?

That situation was a little frustrating. I initially tried to get it, but that issue prevented me from doing so and I wasn't available to get it when they fixed it. Missing out on a wishlisted game in one of my favorite genres sucks. I'm hoping they'll do a restock, but I'm guessing that probably won't happen.

soon games from giveaway will be tied to the linked steam account anyways, so this changes nothing

Sorry for previous days, forgot to post them, was into some other tool making thing so got carried away.

I opened the site without issue but didn't claim a key. Those interested should hurry as about 4,000 keys are gone already.
