I'm in a steam group which give away some games. I usually entry for all the giveaways and sometimes I win one of them.
If I win two of them, I would like to get just the one I like most, so other members can get the other game. How can I do it? Will the giveaway creator receive negative feedback if I don't get the prize?
Thanks

You can have the creator request a reroll

From reading the OP, I THINK he's already doing that, but would feel greedy if he won TOO many games (even if he'd play them all). This is a Steam group as well, so it's possible they mostly know each other and are friends and sharing and blah blah blah.

Also imagine this: You have heard great things about the Assassin's Creed series but you haven't played any of them. You look at some gameplay videos and see that they all play similarly. You decide you want the most recent entry most, but would also probably enjoy the older entries. You enter all giveaways you find for the series, then win ACIV. Having the newest game in the series (and likely the most "polished" as well), you decide that you don't need to play the older ones anymore, so you'll drop out of the giveaways to give someone else a chance.

Why would somebody only play the latest AC? Or is this the strange people that don't care about the story?

Could apply to any game series really, but yeah, a primary reason would probably involve not caring about the story. Personally though, I stopped caring about the AC story AFTER III. :P

I already do that, but still don't want to win more than 1 game in a day (it's a small close group)

TAKE ALL THE GAMES FOR YOURSELF! LEAVE NOTHING BEHIND!

My suggestions:

1: Check Steamgifts as often as you have time for. That way, if you win X game that you know you want more than Y game, you can manually drop out of the giveaway for Y before it ends.

2: A giveaway creator is allowed to request a reroll if the winner does not claim the gift within 7 days. I know this does not negatively affect the gifter's percent received or anything like that, and I don't THINK this is recorded in any way (and therefore has no affect on the winner who did not claim the gift). You can always contact the gifter, apologize, and ask him to request a reroll. He may have to wait the 7 days but with some sort of evidence that you passed on the gift, I doubt it.

No need to wait 7 days, if the winner agrees to a reroll it should be fine and no one gets affected negatively. That's my experience anyway.

Do a key drop in your groups forum with the game you think you don't deserve.

terrible idea - he does not activate won game, so he gets banned on SG.

To me it sounds like this is not about sg at all, just a random steam group doing forum giveaways. But if you're right, then obviously you're right.

To me it sounds like it is very much about SG, because of:
Will the giveaway creator receive negative feedback if I don't get the prize?

You can request a reroll for a giveaway you won (and you don't have to give a reason, as far as I recall -- 'giveaway recipient requests reroll' is a valid reroll reason, anyway.) Just contact support with a link to the giveaway.
