i play on hard and you can heal yourself, get energy from fallen enemies (+30!!!) and health packs.... i just played 1 hour and it already feels so cheap, is it just the beginning or a cheap easy game? :(

I guess you'll never know.

It's just the beginning. You'll still find small enemies easy to kill everywhere but big demons will start to appear as you progress (different types) and it gets more challenging. A bit tedious/annoying since they're bullet sponge

Hmmmmm, I played the game through on hard and it was quite easy, only really struggled against end boss I think ? So if your a experienced gamer play it on the difficulty above that (if there is one)

It is a fairly easy game, but I wouldn't say it feels cheap. The gameplay is solid and there's a good variety of weapons. Pulpits really nice looking and a decent length

I've heard that it starts out easy for the first few chapters before amping it up more later on.

ok, imma check if i can play insane from start, i dont use self healing, this is so cheap....
hard is normally no ♥♥♥♥♥ difficulty, is there any mod to switch off the Healthshit from enemies?
i will start insane then.

even if the game is good what happened with FPS being so easy? medkits would have been enough and not self healing + healing from enemies. why not give invulnerability at the start.... no fun.

It'll become more difficult as you progress. Plus, play with the sword, that's where the fun is.

It's harder later, especially a few bosses.

Its really easy just like shadow warrior 2 even on the highest difficulty the fact that u can heal yourself unlimited is just OP i recommend barely using it or only out of combat because a lot of stuff already heals you and its stupid.

you can't play on Heroic mode (the hardest difficulty) without finishing the game once. the only real challenge in Heroic is that dying means restarting the entire chapter over-- well, and I guess you take more damage too... I remember dying a lot early on--.. which means keeping distance from very strong enemies a lot, but sometimes you get caught by an explosion.. or exploding enemies.

I though the bosses were hard until I finally managed to kill them after my first playthrough, though. and the crossbow is a really overpowered weapon
then I thought some were annoying on heroic mode. I really liked the game, and I enjoyed the mode too.

no idea if you'd replay it on heroic mode, but it's not really recommended (if you had a save to unlock it) because you'd be replaying a lot of the game because you don't know the maps or the fights or the areas. I think I probably would have given up if I did Heroic first (or at least went to Insane)

Too easy my ass. I'm stuck at the place with some big ass monsters you who only take damage from the back. And I'm playing on easy...
