On Steam, of course

I haven't

Yes, a few times. Reasons:

  • Game sucked more than a two dollar whore on Two-for-Tuesday
  • Game was worse than Jay Cutler at starting.

Those two reasons are eerily similar...

Did you mean Jay Cutler and a hooker or the game sucking and crashing at startup? :3

Two because I couldn't run it at the time. Another few because the game was like running a cheese grater over my forehead. Had good reviews, or at least decent, just was terrible for me.

Because the main spokesman/developer was a lying bastard?

Maybe I haven't seen all the interviews and stuff or something, but it sounded like he mostly talked about his vision for the game. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

He kept promising that all kinds of things work when it was blatant lies.
Best not to watch the vids if you're happy with the game. You may end up thinking "how could I support a company like this?" ;)

Exactly, the "final game" was completely something else from what was promised/advertised by the dev team. But let's not start yet another discussion about it, there have been enough of them already... I can only blame myself for joining the hype train and pre-ordering it. Probably if I bought it now, not following the development I'd not complain (much) about it either.

I was excited for this game until I heard Minecraft in space and I was like hahaha nope. So I never got it.

Yes, I have. Mostly games that were suposed to be coop but the coop system didn't work. Other times the game really was not playable due to errors that support didn't solve.

I think I have 3 times maybe, 2 times because I absolutely hated the games, which was disappointing because they were games I thought would be really awesome. The other time was because the menu of the game was glitched for me, and it was stuck on quit game and no matter what I did the menu arrow would not move to start game, almost as if my down arrow key was stuck to force it down to quit

Yes, only once so far. Bought a game Monday on Steam and it showed up in a bundle on Wednesday.

Because the game got bundled a few days later after I bought it.

Yup, one time only. Bought Lego avengers from steam on sale. Then it showed up for much less on bundlestars the next day.

Grim Dawn due to bugs the devs know about and cannot or will not fix.
My audio should not cut out, and the game should not crash my system.

This happened with no other game before or after Grim Dawn.

I've played 80+ hours and not suffered a single crash, have you checked your system specs compared to the games.

Ive played 167 hours half a year ago or so and I`ve never had any problems with Grim Dawn.

My system specs let me play everything out there on High or Ultra. Only Grim Dawn has issues with my rig.

I have 80+ hours also and it hasn't crashed while playing. It did however crash when exiting the game... But thats not exactly an unplayable issue! I can run everything at high settings :P

I had numerous system lockups and the sound cut out quite frequently while testing the game.
I had no choice but to refund it.

It was a game I really wanted to enjoy.

Idol Hands, the game was really, reeeeally bad, disappointing.

Omegalodon. I got it by accident. Basically steam kept resetting my shopping cart. I made a list, erased a few games and when went to buy.. reset. So i would remake it again from memory, and steam would erase it. But the last time I remade it I forgot to erase that game so it went through even though i didnt intend to get it anymore.

Dont starve: I bought for myself on a real cheap price, went to buy again for a friend and price went up and i didnt notice, it was a price bug. Refunds werent even allowed at the time, i got as the "one time favor" thing.

Brutal Legend: I bought the soundtrack edition thinking it would contain... well.. the soundtrack. But i was naive to think all those songs would be sold so cheaply. The soundtrack was for the ORIGINAL songs made for it. So I just got the normal edition.

Not yet, I am curious as to why my full Price TF2 purchase didn't get any sort of refund but I suppose the hats and stuff make most people happy enough (I'm not unhappy with Steam - just seemed odd at the time).

Thanks for that KokoSabre!

I bought TF2 to play with a friend I used to do HL2:DM with and we had some fun. At some point it went free, I got that helmet and a bunch of Poker Night at the Armory items and then achievements, badges and cards started appearing all over Steam and I knew my generation had been toppled (In a good way though) as I had no clue what to do with any of them (I still don't).

yes, i did it just yesterday. because the new telltale game (guardians of the galaxy) doesn't support 21:9. i am not willing to accept that anymore. so i got my money back and wrote that as the explanation.

Oh man, not envious of the trouble you must have with 21:9

Even mine 16:9 but above 1080p is a struggle sometimes.

well, it's not that much trouble, to be honest. almost all western AAA games support it. also most indie games (3D, i understand and accept that a point 'n' click with 2D art is usually fixed 16:9). the main exceptions are asian games - and telltale. ^^

1 time because in the store it was noted that the game is in my language, but it is not. (A shame as it was when I was younger and I was playing it on xbox)

For a humorous game, it is better to understand the replicas perfectly to enjoy it.
