Extend the rules to identify / limit fake giveaways ?

Why dont you just add a rule to the site that forces people on their first giveaway to add a sentence to their comments ?

Something like " I hereby confirm that ive read the rules/faq and that i will have to provide the gift for the giveaway i created ".

People that didnt read or think they will get the gift wont have that commentary on their giveaway, so you could easily report / avoid it.

Or make a captcha with that phrase to actually be able to create the giveaway in the first place.

Well this is just my little idea, that would hopefully help this site a little bit.

You create a support ticket and select "suggestion" and give this to them. Similar things have been suggested, nothing implemented.

Fakes are easy to spot though. Just click report and move on.

I tick "I've read the ToS" every time I install a program, does that mean that I have read every license agreement?
