The amount of achievements you should have is relative to the amount of games you have. I have over 4000 but I also own over 700 games. For the amount you own I think it's pretty good.

It would be better if you actually completed more of your games. People who actually care about achievements tend to look at number of perfect games and average completion % more than the sheer number of achievements because it means more to actually 100% a game than it does to just play it and get some achievements. Still, nice milestone there, just look towards completing some games.

I'm at 3,426 14 perfect games with 53% of achievements. My % has been messed with by crappy F2P games I've played that have 70-100 achievements.
