The first is what algebra and mystery have in common — and what you name your unnamed RPG character.
The second letter is "I jump, I juggle, I join, I jet, but you'll never see me in the alphabet's first set."
The third is a classic — roll in most souls games.
The fourth is a digit — halfway to ten.
The last is not a capital — but it holds the key to the map.

Have you tried checking the Grail diary?

The OP has been altered since I was last here. I might give it another go Heisenbear :)

Lol... alright, what style of games / generation aside, can we at least confirm this is X-input?

update: solved. ughhh... i still had to think of a game with really standard control layout and then figure out how to google "keyboard mapping for map'" 😂... this game is not steam deck verified as it is not gamepad playable!

Hint for the second one: It's not a controller button, but there are words that might help with the letter.

No idea. I've tried several combinations and can't seem to get it right. Maybe I'll come back later.
A bump for you.

The problem with this riddle is that there are five riddles, and if we see the answer, then, like the creator, we will say: "Yes, everything makes perfect sense." Almost certainly.
But we do not know the answer and see many options that also have the same perfect sense. And then all that remains for us is to go through all the stages from bargaining to despair, going through dozens of combinations. I am more or less sure only about the first riddle.
If someone manages to get through all these options, I will not know one thing: how exactly it was done. Obviously, not by a logical solution. Because there is no obvious solution here.

From an artistic point of view, the riddle is creative and aesthetic, yes...

Hint for the 5th: usually the map opens if you press that button on your keyboard

In vieus1's profile there's the list of giveaways, invite-only ones with currently zero entries have 6 days remaining, that's probably the train. :)

The problem is that there are many controllers, keyboards and configs, also many games hystorically have many variations for keyboards, controllers and retries... And I don´t even know if we are talking about controllers or keyboards xD

The trick is that not all the symbols are buttons, so the number of combinations keeps growing. But that's interesting in its own way...

You made the task much, much easier... Surprisingly, of all the options, I only made a mistake in the number. It seems you play some very specific games if this is the number of attempts in the majority for you.

For the future, I can recommend two things:

  1. Never create tests.
  2. Never make riddles that in any way have more than one answer.

In fact, the sphinx killed travelers who couldn't answer its riddles... if it made such, it would be an incredibly cruel creature.

I'm not sure what you mean.
You are supposed to find 5 characters, each given by a line in the riddle, and put it in a giveaway link such as: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/XXXxx/
