Will you be investing in this one?
I usually preorder... I'm just sick like that
I can't decide if I don't know the actual games :p
But anyway... usually the second price option corresponds to the 'preorder for this amount and get the full thing', I think (usually it's the same price as the first option).
This time the second price option is $3, but the text below reads: 'Pay $1.25 minimum, and you will get a full bundle when it starts.'
So $1.25 definitely gets me the full thing?

yep! preorder now for $1.25 and get the full bundle + any bonuses!

I got a $1 groupees coin, is it possible to use that one for the preorder and pay the additional $.25 via PP?

No, Groupees coins cannot be used for preorders, unfortunately

that's bad.. thanks for the quick response. guess I'll go for it since that game looks like it's right up my alley.

No, I don't believe so. You can use the groupees coins after the bundle goes live.

I have a few Groupie coins. Got some in old bundles. I always wondered what they were for. lol

I'm wondering why there are tiers available for a preorder. But not spending more than the minimum.

I bought about 80 bundles to date and it's also the first time i've seen that.

Cheeky having $3 be the default on this new pre order.

I will just click the $13 one and change it to $1.25. Hope that works.

Elite: Dangerous is one of the games!!!
lol of course not, just trolling (and surely ineffectively at that)
More guesses (?) here:

Spaceport looks sort of decent but the rest is 'meh'. Then again I'm not all that crazy about space games as there are so damn many of them. Although I hope that Blackspace will see the light of day eventually.

Thanks! I'll look at this later and add some links. I'm terribly tired :(

After reading increased number of complaints regarding declining quality of the bundles in general, especially bundles provided by Groupees, I started to think about this issue. As much as I am not a fan of such complaints because quality aside, the bundles still offer the games for much lower price than Steam directly and if you don't like the games that are in the bundle, you can simply choose to not buy it, I must still agree that the quality of the games in the bundles isn't always what people could expect.
I remember the times when good games were bundled too and everyone was happy. So where are all the good games? Why they aren't bundled that much anymore? How did it come to this lack of quality in the bundles? Well, I think that the financial aspect of this matter plays a big role. Assuming they actually must invest money to bring the games to the bundles in the first place, they probably don't have enough of money to include games of higher quality.
If this is the case, then also lack of earnings from the sold bundles affects the quality negatively and we are getting into a never-ending circle here where people eventually stop buying bundles because they are lacking quality and bundles are lacking quality because the website doesn't get enough money for improvement.
With this in mind, I think that pre-orders are a big catch in the whole bundle thing and actually contribute to this problem because many people prefer preordering for the minimum which is less than the regular price and therefore much less money to support the website, much less money for future improvement. I think what you give is what you get fits pretty well here. If you always pre-order bundles for minimum, you should probably always expect minimum quality in the next one too.
I think preordering bundles is a bad idea in general. You never know what will you get in the bundle and while you may choose to pay the minimum, you may end up losing money on games you actually wouldn't normally buy at all, if you however wait it out and it turns out that there are games you would actually like to buy, you can still get the bundle after the preorder period and the price is still less than on Steam so it'd be still a good deal, sure it's not the minimum anymore, but it's a good investment towards the quality of the bundles in the future. If it turns out there aren't any games in the bundle that you would like to buy, then it's still good because that way you save the same amount of money the bundle would cost you after the end of preorder period.

Preordering is certainly bad though I'd argue it's for other reasons, especially the way it conditions consumers. That aside though I'm guessing they generate extra sales and overall profit or else they wouldn't keep pushing the preorder system.
Regarding bundle quality in general I would wager the decline is due to the proliferation of bundles in general. There are a lot of bundle sites now and they all, or at least all the ones I'm familiar with, want to pump out another bundle on schedule. The problem is we don't have quality games being released at a similar pace.

That's an interesting argument. However, if more people order the game during a preorder than would normally buy the game, that's more income, and I'm pretty sure they scale how much everyone gets based on income, not number of orders, so if 2000 people preorder for $1.25 or 500 people order for $3, it still ends up making everyone involved more money.
On another note, I've only been deeply disappointed by preorders once or twice, most of the time, even if the games are rather disappointing, there's a redeeming something in the bundle, even if it's a little weaker than I would hope.
This particular preorder piques my interested because of Spaceport Hope, so I'd buy it anyway- preordering lets me buy two or three bundles instead of just one, and with my budget right now I appreciate that.

I'm shocked that, if the table is correct, I'm getting all games with no duplicates even with my 2741 game library.

Lol! No worries! I love it when people tell me about bundles I may have missed. I appreciate it, and you are definitely not being a smartass! Thank you for the heads up

Yes! Some bundles go live when I'm busy or sleeping or in class. So sometimes I don't see something. But if I do miss something, someone will message me :) or someone else will get to make a post before I do :(
I always make sure to give credit to the people who tell me about bundles I may have missed though!
