Whenever HB made it possible to give to local charities I started giving every penny to the charity part. Before that I gave the majority to charity and HB. Discussing this with a friend, I decided to start a poll.I didn't think this needed to be said but please only answer if you actually buy the Humble Bundles.

Since it is part of HB's mission statement to support charitities, here's a good resource for knowing where your money is going when you donate.

Whatever the default split is. Not sure what that is without looking.

I aim for equal split mostly

It mostly depends on what publisher/dev is behind the bundle. If it's indie devs, (usually) most of the money will go towards them. If it's someone like ubisoft, most money will go towards charity.

I usually leave it at defaults unless I am buying the bundle specifically for GAs. When that is the case, I set the developer to .01 and let the other sliders land where they may.

Usually 60% charity, 30% devs and then 10% for tip.

I tend to split it 70% devs and 30% charity, mainly because the big publisher bundles usually aren't of interest to me.

If my selected local charity is an option, I usually give most/all to that.

If it's specific charities only, I'll vary the split based on what I know about the charities or what I know about the developers.

I do equal amounts. I was able to select a local bunny rescue charity. I've done volunteer work for it and the woman who runs it is amazing. She's a very hard working and selfless person, so I'm happy I got to select this charity.

I used to give all to the developers, but these days I give more to Child's Play. I think they have a noble goal and can use all the help they can get.

I usually give them 50% and set the rest 25% to devs and 25% for tip. I do that way because I think they all have their efforts.

I'm not interested in 1001 Spikes, so I'm just curious as to why I'm blacklisted-- not contesting your decision, by the way, just curious, like I said :)

I often forget to change it (mostly when I only buy the $1 tier) but it's usually 10% HB 40% devs and 50% charity

I give most to the devs, a good chunk to charity and reduce the Humble tip a bit. Something like 60/30/10.

Then again it varies. I was unhappy about the lack of Steam keys (but still wanted the 2/3 in T1) , so I seem to recall giving them nothing. Other devs may get more.

Now that I think about it, I'm probably putting way too much thought into distribution of funds when it's generally $6 or less.

EDIT: Also, maybe too many poll options. >25 & <50 are the same, as are >50 & <75 :)

It depends on the bundle. Indies always get 100%, for the rest I leave the default.

On game bundles, I generally adjust the sliders so that the developers of the games I am buying get ~80% split between them and HB gets the rest. I really dislike it when upper tier games are set to get a portion of a lower tier payment.
When it was possible to buy Mobile and Books bundles for a penny, I would and I'd send that penny to charity. I really didn't like HB taking so much money for stuff like that. I'm not usually vindictive but I doubt they ever noticed anyway.

100% because if I want to support the devs I could have bought the game long before it appeared on a bundle.

Most of the time I leave it at default. If I really like or dislike the publisher(s) or the charity(ies) I will change it.
