Is it bad that I do not want to giveaway anything until I win something?

Well.. The site is driven by people who giveaway because they want. No one is forcing you to giveaway.
To be honest I'm handling the same method :D

Something must be wrong when I take part in HUNDREDS of give aways and only won one game I realised I can't even play.

And noobs who just joined with only a few entries can win. And a selected elite few keeps winning multiple times.

It´s not bad at all. Most users never give anything, so you´d still be contributing more than the majority.

Still, if everyone thought like that, no one would ever give away anything.

It's completely sound business logic, and the fact that you would even consider actually giving something away rather than taking with no return puts you above some (but certainly not all) of the people who come here.

I did the opposite, but mainly because I like giving stuff away. As a result someone kindly gave me From Dust just for making so many giveaways. I thank and love these crazy crazy people.

Not at all. Some of my friends, several of whom I met here, simply cannot afford to be gifters yet. Yer fine.

You are free to do as you like, but your chances of winning are very slim. So you may never give something away.

Or just buy cheap games when on sale and give them away. Not every giveaway has to be for a $50 game.

Joking aside I find myself very hesitant to start public giveaways these days. I find the community often rubs me the wrong way and my generosity is taken for granted by the majority of people. :/
