How much did you spend?
Didn't buy anything yet cause I'm saving money to get a new pc but I have gotten around 2€ and a few cents on the steam wallet from selling cards and skins so i might buy something with that (looking into either getting the forest with a few friends or spore)

I was looking at the deals and I realized I'd only play Silksong right away and it's not even out. I was going to buy something just to momentarily feel better for like 5 seconds but my mood is awful because of financial troubles I'm in at the moment – so it doesn't make sense either. Therefore I grabbed Vampire Survivors for free on Epic.

Hoping for things to get better soon, lovol. Times like these it's as you say, better to ignore temporary boosts, double down on what's readily available, and push forward... brighter days will come (as will Silksong eventually, but it might take longer)!

Vampire Survivors is better than most games out there.

Love when that happens.
Not that it's precisely the same style of game, but if you loved Nuclear Throne, there's a solid chance you'll feel the same about Vampire Survivors.

Yeah ... I think I'm done for this holiday season. On the top of my list was actually Age of Wonders 4 with both seasons. But that's still too pricey.

got Palworld, it's real fun.
also got SOMA when it was 95% off, kinda looking forward to playing it.
I was also pretty excited to play NFS: Unbound but it ran like shit so I refunded.
also got the ultimate edition of Forza Horizon 4 before it delisted, but I already got the base game earlier this year. the DLC is nice but eh, don't really feel like playing the game as much as I used to.
thinking of getting Half Life: Alyx, but I haven't been able to properly set up my Quest 2 so I'm undecided for now. I always get some sort of error on SteamVR when I try to run a VR game.
Is there any way I can check if my machine can run VR properly?

That's pretty much it, I don't think I'll grab anything else.

I have a massive backlog and get the monthly Humble Choices (Along with the occasional other bundle), so don't want to spend too much on new content, but I decided each major sale I was going to spend $20ish(AUD) on targeted things I really wanted, stuff that was a few years old now and hadn't been bundled or I thought might not be bundled. I was going to do it last sale, but I procrastinated/thought about it for too long a missed it! (oops!) So this sale I got the Divinity Franchise:
Divine Divinity (Which I already owned)
Beyond Divinity
Divinity II
Divinity: Dragon Commander
Divinity: Original Sin
Divinity: Original Sin II

The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?
You are free to include purchases since Black Friday and from other stores or for other systems, besides Steam/PC.

Tragic, this year people can't really earn any potatoes with the free Trading Cards gone.
