The bugs aren't generally game-breaking though. More amusing than anything. Just because it isn't a 100% polished experience doesn't mean you can't still have fun.

I'm fine with it - though after Fallout -green- 3 and Fallout - yellow - New Vegas it's actually really refreshing to see colours in the FO4 trailer - for some reason it reminds me of Fallout 2, and some content from the cancelled Van Buren :)

Don't remind me about Van Buren....I still want to try that game :'(

It's the style of this particular game and I like it. The similar gamma is used in the movie The Book of Eli (2010)

Hey, if someone'll pay the shipping I'll send my old disc of the base game to them.

Doesn't bother me as much as New Vegas's desert, although thank god Fallout 4 actually realizes you can have multiple colors on screen at the same time.

Hey, allow me some hyperbole here. I've just always seen dislike in any discussions about the game.

Fallout 3 is just has an unnecessary amount of gray and green in their colour-schemes. The yellow, as mentioned here and seen in New Vegas, is more realistic(because it's a desert and yellow is a more prevalent colour in reality) and refreshing than boring gray and dirty green.

It does not bother me, although I would have liked more color. It does bother me that many games seem to hate color in general (like every brown-grey shooter ever), even when they do not need the tint to match their theme, but in this specific game, it did not bother me. That said, no use always doing the same thing. I like the more colorful game we are getting soon. And I would prefer a choice in all games. Not everyone appreciates a "style". It can get tiring. Especially in games you can play for well over 100 hours.

It's an artistic purpose so why would anyone hate it?

Agreed, but plenty of people do, and one of the most popular mods "fixes" the coloration.
Also, might drop a link for a giveaway for chat in about a week to celebrate 3 year anniversary on steam, any suggestions?

That's like painting over a good painting. I'm not as fanatic to say every game can be considered art, but they still hate the one thing that could be considered highly artistic which would be the tint.
To be honest, I have no idea. I won and got so many games recently I actually don't want to enter anything until I've beaten my backlog. What's your budget? Just realised that this isn't something that I should ask you publicly.

Title basically sums it up. I don't mind the tint that much in Fallout 3, and I've never installed Fellout because I'd kind of rather not play the game with awkwardly untinted colors. If it was made colorful, sure that'd be cool. Fallout 4 looks awesome. But the colors were designed to look right everywhere with the tint, and that's what I stick with. Kinda like how you wouldn't want to untint the Matrix, although I'd still way rather do it to this than to the Matrix.
