What the reason you HATE Origin?

Every time the client updates, my Origin installation breaks down and I have to reinstall it. And I seriously mean it. Every gorram time.

The in-game hud isn't optimized, etc. EA is a very greedy publisher usually as well.

-Try uninstall game in origin, it will open "Add/remove programs" :D
-When origin update then you need type login data again (remember tick not work)
-it's EA keylogger
-It's just shitty copy of steam

The battlelog plugin has been broken for ages now, I can't play BF3 in co-op. But EA works on bulls**** like dungeon keeper for mobiles instead of fixing broken games already sold. And that's been going on for years. I don't necessarily hate it, but sure I won't buy any more EA games.

Also the last plugin update only got worse, not even launching the multiplayer in firefox (which is what I've been using for months). I now can only start it from chrome.

i like origin, but their discounts are super rare and they dont have many games like steam.

Can't say i hate it but i found annoying the fact that they force you to use it for their games then brag about "wow look how many people joined origin"

Also, they have no server browsers that don't run through Chrome. Like seriously, how hard is it to program a server browser into a game that I don't have to relaunch every time I want to change a server?
Also, Frostbite 2 engine cannot run at any resolution other than 1280x720 in windowed mode, which is terrible.

No linux support and I hate EA

Origin has bad sales, a lot of dlc's that makes all them together cost more than the base game, bad servers, doesn't have all methode of payment that steam has, EA games got a lot of bugs and it's support is not of the best ones.

I don't hate it, never tried it. Got some games on there from the Humble Origin bundle but I just haven't got round to them yet.

I don't mind Origin. I don't know why people hate EA (besides the "omg fix BF!!1!11!" stuff) but I usually use Steam instead since that's where most of my games are. And actually there are some good sales and promos on Origin occasionally. Good Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, on Valentine's Day Titanfall was 50% off, that's pretty darn good right there.

No good sales, takes ages to download anything,download progress can easily be lost if you pause and resume, the user interface is garbage.

Stance on not selling the games on steam. I like all my games centralized on one service. I'm already well established on steam so steam is where I will stay. Maybe someday I'll get to play mass effect 3 or one of the newer battlefield games....

EA just rubs me the wrong way. And Gabe rubs me oh so good. Mmmmmm.
