It appears that it is not free for everyone. I think DevTasks is only free if you owned Modular To Do Lists, a previous asset made by the same publisher. Basically a free upgrade.
The Unity Asset Store applies these type of discounts without explaining why you are receiving the discount. Totally understandable why hebert2099 thought it was free, because it was for them. It was free for me as well because I own the previous assets.
In my assets I have:

Interesting, so that's why it's free for some people, didn't know they had that own previous asset claim new ones for free or having some promos with it.
Good for doing that, but yep a little tooltip or indication about how that offer comes from the site itself would be nice.
At first I thought regional issues, but even the UnityAsset Database site didn't catch that price change at all (During all period it was never free in price history)
So got confused and didn't know what to guess (thought maybe some people got some special coupon but weird no one mentioned that)
But your msg clears most of those questions up, so really thx for that!

No shot on that bundle, that's the most expensive asset bundle I've seen on humble. This feels more targeted at studios. Not something I'd realistically use in Unity or Unreal(over a placeholder free one until I get my own). The $34 asset pack has over a thousand assets and even that one is not really good with all the scenes. That guy sure does praise it on reddit but at least the others point out this ain't it.
Fab has over 2400 free characters & creatures to use as placeholders.
