I'm sure you'll have a better gifting experience on the forum.
Instead of only users who blindly enter every giveaways they see on the front page, you'll notice quite a handful of people who simply enjoy hanging around the Steamgifts forum will enter your giveaways instead, and are a bit more likely to be very grateful. Also, raising the level a bit more can help avoid "bad winners". :)

Welcome to steamgifts! It is, indeed, quite annoying when you have to deal with rude winners, but then again you can limit your giveaways to a certain level to lower your chances of encountering such individuals. It is a bit unfortunate that it also prevents the fair people that just simply can't afford to give away more games from joining, but there's not much you can do about that (well, whitelist / forum giveaways help as well). Ah, too much blabbering about. Enjoy your stay! :P

Already have the game - but great giveaway for someone else! Respect for quitting smoking, I know I struggled with that for a long time. I had the same issues with public giveaways. If you do want friends on Steam then you are welcome to add me.

A little hint from someone who quit 5 years ago: smoking even one single cigarette means you are addicted again. Fear this and you will never feel like you want to smoke again (works for me at least).

I've never even had a drag of a cigarette. I like to keep my body pure. I mean, it is a Temple for Zuul, so I limit it to alcohol and cheap daytime hookers.

Some people here do suck, no doubt, but personally, I haven't had any issues with anyone yet. You'll run into more decent people than not, I'm sure, so you don't have to worry too much.
But, congrats on quitting. It's certainly a much better idea to blow your money on games than that kind of garbage. =P

Hey all. I've been here for a little while, I may have already pissed off one of you, or two or three or, well you get it. Thought I'd make a thread and say hi. Been gaming a long time but only recently have gotten back into PC gaming. Quit smoking cigarettes finally after 8 years of stupidity, and have more money to enjoy my hobbies.
I've already done some giveaways but I just did them publicly, and found the last person I dealt with to be kind of rude. So I decided I'd do my giveaways this way from now on. :)
Invite only and Lvl 1 + (was considering higher but I figure it's fair to ask people are only at least the level I am :))
Kind of poor right now thanks to the government and cluster headaches, so it's not much but here:
