I personally ask that if someone insists on getting me a gift, they get me either something practical that I need or just give me a few dollars so I can save up/get something I need myself. Of course I have one or two friends who just buy me video games or something, but that's cool too considering they're usually coop games I can't afford to buy myself and they want me to play with them. :D

UPDATE: This has been the worst birthday ever...
My friends couldn't eat sushi beacouse they were ill, i had a bad grade in a school project, i had headache in school while playing soccer, I couldn't get the bus on time, I had to wait my father to take me from schoolo, It rained and while standing under the rain my phone broke, I waited 2hrs and 20mins before getting out of school, my father had a little accident with his car, I come back home without eating anything, When I tried to cook the boiling oil splattered on me with and I had a burn, I discovered that a package I was waiting from a friend has been "lost" ( I have no idea wtf it means).
This is the best birthday of my life

Todae it's ma birthdae.
I honestly don't celebrate it too much, I don't say "I want this and that and that thing" since I don't recieve gifts. But I use it as an "excuse" to spend some time with friends. It's 6:15 am atm and I have to go school. I'll leave at 2 pm (dinner time) and I'm gonna eat some sushi with my friends. Then I come back home and i'll act like a normal day.
But this day I may have a gift for you (tip : it's in my inventory and it's not what you want muahahah)
