As a language learner, I use GoldenDict for dictionary lookup, cause offline access is fast and reliable.
WordNet is free and open source, so I don't need to pay Oxford for a dictionary, that only provides me a little benefit.
When I need to translate long text, I still use Google Translate to get a rough draft, then improvise it myself.
