Support is slow, but deleting your ticket and creating a new one is going to put you on the end of the list again which means it is going to take longer.

There's currently over 1.7k tickets for user reports in the queue right now and those are handled by higher ranked support team members and there's not a lot of them so it can take a bit.
Just an FYI: Only Moderators, Super Moderators and CG can see those tickets.

I have a 5 year old ticket open. It's obviously not important anymore, but it seems they just look past the ones they don't know how to deal with.
In your case though, it will clearly get dealt with as soon as they can. Just let it take its course.

I can't speak for every support team member but we generally handle oldest to newest tickets, so as other SG members have pointed out in this thread you've made the wait longer for yourself. And while there are only 33 delete giveaway tickets at the time of my typing this out there's also a bunch of other tickets that aren't delete GA tickets in the queue line.

I asked to delete GA and winner agreed. Silence 3 days. I deleted ticket and create new one. And now 2 days of silence.
Maybe it's no support now in this site? Or deleting takes a lot time?
