Right, it was released on a lot of platforms in 2020, but it still seems weird to me to give it that big of a promotional price cut for a launch on Steam.

AC: Valhalla got the biggest discount on Steam launch too.

They learnt from IOI how not to release an old game on Steam.

It's a great game, tbh. I know a lot of people are mad at Ubisoft, for various reasons ranging from fair to insane, and there's no achievements, and no cards so what's the point blah blah but it's worth the 15 bucks imo.

They couldn't even get it Deck verified for day 1? -_-

Ubisoft games use Uplay. Until they ditch that extra DRM restriction, I can't see any Uplay games working on Steam Deck.

There are many SD-playable ubisoft games, though.
They just say "This game's launcher/setup tool may require the touchscreen or virtual keyboard, or have difficult to read text"

It's the same price as AC Valhalla here because of worse regional pricing.

The game is also at -75% on Epic, so i think they have do the same for Steam, for no preference of price.

No idea, I've never played the game. I posted originally because I thought it might be a price error, but that's not the case. Sorry I couldn't answer the question.

It looks like a really fun game, it reminds me a lot of Zelda Breath of the Wild. The base game as well as the DLC look like they are definitely worth the price. As I mentioned above though, I haven't played the game before.

For the Steam release the reviews mention that people aren't getting the Gold version DLC and some controllers aren't working. As far as the DLC, people will definitely get it as they paid for it, Ubisoft just has to fix the issue. There's no mention of controller support on the Steam page, but I'm seeing that people in the discussion board who own it that say their controllers work, so it might just be specific controllers and starting in big picture mode might be a solution for those who are having issues.

A pretty good game. I finished it before 1 year 100% the main game+the first 2 DLCS 100% and loved it. Beautiful art wonderful world clever puzzles in the tartaros especially in the first DLC they were exceptional. Very funny characters with the Greek mythology and overall one of the best games from the past 5 years from Ubisoft. Play it you gonna love it.

Forget reseller sites and Steam ... since you need Ubisoft Connect even on Steam you might as well buy directly from Ubisoft.

Use the promo code HOLIDAY22 and get an even bigger discount.
eg, Gold Edition is $37.49 AUD on Steam and Ubisoft, use the promo code and get it for $22.49 AUD instead!
Not sure on the US pricing ... ITAD seems to suggest Gold would be $10 USD

Tried a few hours during a cheap month of Ubi+.
It's fine, methinks.
It kind of both felt nice, and soullessly open-world at the same time. The upfront presentation of 5+ resources is just overwhelming, and very much telling of what to expect.
I personally hope it will be in a Monthly at some point, it would be okay to get in a bundle that I already want to buy. On its own it's a hard skip, even if it would be around 5€. Can't live up to my backlog :P

For someone with less of a backlog and a heavier interest in open world games it can be a decent open world fuckaroundery to spend some time on.

Unfortunately, it performs poorly on my PC which is way above the recommended system requirements... (even if I drop everything on low)
I'm glad I played it during a game pass sub and I didn't have to pay for it...

Wishlisted game, I was willing to buy it (without DLCs) when it was -75% and I still want to buy it, BUT I have a strong feeling that at some point it will be given away by EGS (I have the same feeling about RDR2)
