Did you get it ?

Where's the source of this? I can't find anything about it on the web...
Sadly, I didn't get anything, even though I completed the "game", got a reward link, and received an (awful) wallpaper (which I downloaded and soon after deleted the same day :P).

I didn't even know that there was something odd with Uplay, mostly because i don't use it all the time like Steam. Bad marketing.

Same old Ubi. Failtastic management of a straightforward task. I don't really care about the game but not everyone that participated received the "reward". Either they should have given the reward to everyone or they should have had a proper tracking mechanism to identify the participants. As it is right now it's rather random.

Didn't know there was a minigame involved, so nope, didn't get it.

How did you 'beat' the admin console? I ran the commands, got my level jacked up and did the coins thing and stuff.
But no 'ODE'.
Ok, here was 'da wae' apparently:
Type in "help" and hit enter to list available commands.
Type in "list-unreleased-games" and hit enter for the next clue.
Type in "start-map" and hit enter to start the mini game.
Type in "af-reward" and hit enter for your April Fools reward.
I didn't get to 'af-reward'.

The game was very straightforward and short, with time you would eventually get to the solution. If I remember correctly, what I did after playing with all the commands (which was not necessary, but fun anyway :P), executing the "list-unreleased-games" command showed a "corrupted" text. In the center of that block of text, the "start-map" text was clearly visible and was shown as an obvious command. With that command you started the text game.
In the text game, all the commands to be used were shown for each screen, so this part was easy. If you remember, you started close to a forest, next to a cabin and a river. The cabin had its door locked, and the key was found in the river where you could also look at yourself in the reflection of the water. If you went to the forest, the next screen was a bridge where a man was screaming something at you that you couldn't understand (that line of text was shown on screen in a garbled manner).
The Solution, Part 1: To understand what that man was saying, you needed a note found inside the cabin. For that, you needed the key found in the river, so you could open the locked door and take the note. The note only had numbers (shown on screen). The numbers were listed not in order and just separated with a simple space, and the note could be read at any screen, because you had it with you after taking it from the cabin.
The Solution, Part 2: This part was easier than you think. At this point, you only had two mysteries: This note with the numbers, and what the man was trying to say to you. If you paid attention to the length of characters from the text of the scream (from the man on the bridge), and the quantity of numbers in the note, those were the same. You only needed to go to the bridge, read the note (the numbers were shown on screen) and listen to the man (his message was shown also on screen). At this point you only needed to look at the numbers and the text —this part was easier if you written down on paper both lines, one above the other with one number per each character— and follow the numbers in order, from 1 to 40-something (I can't remember the total, but after the end, in increasing order) and writing down the corresponding letter. The final "translated/decoded" message was something like: "Happy April's Fools", followed with the instruction to type the command "af-reward" to get "your reward".
Typing that command, showed on screen the link you needed to click, which was the "amazing" wallpaper that you could look and save... :P

Little update on this subject for the lovely peeps from SG - I just got an answer from Ubi support regarding not getting Ode even though I did play and finish the mini game. Here is the official answer: "All eligible players have been awarded the game, if you did not receive the game until this time, is because you were not elegible to receive it. " So there you have it :(
