Issues with swl.mabako.net? [Edit: Replacement in the works....]

While some functionality remains, it seems that the Wishlist Checker is no longer loading group wishlists. For example, I can no longer pull up the wishlist games for Charitable Losers.

I'm kind of bummed since I use this checker a lot to create giveaways for groups, and the old "support thread" for this checker has been closed. I hope that doesn't mean the author and his program have gone bye-bye.

Edit: Gaffi has been busy developing a new script to replace those which are now defunct. Information may be found here.

This feature has been encorperated into the group page of steamgifts, you can check the wishlist there.

The creator hasn't been on SG for a few weeks, so they could be gone, or juts on holiday.

Apart from manual job, I doubt that. I have added such functionality in ArchiBoT, but for my 2hus only, as mabako is unreliable and painfully slow while I expect instant response.

Yes, that may be doable. If there's enough interest, I can add it to my to-dos. Right now, I'm in the middle of adding a caching feature, per one of Archi's suggestions.

While a couple of people have taken a stab at it, there is currently nothing that is as useful as mabako was, and that had room for improvement. The SG community could really use an efficient wishlist checker.

any clone it from the sourcecode even? (since it seems available) cause it seems to be failing for me lately, only goes thru 2-3ppl checking in group then halts further scanning.

I'm not bugged. :) I've been working other projects as of late, though I did at least start on this. I plan to get to finishing soon, possibly this week or next.

Just an update: Tried using it and it hangs on 7 users in a group of 140, and it wasn't loading yesterday either.I don't like to bump old threads but there may be a lot of people unaware of mabako's currently being "out-of-order."

Actually, some time ago I made group wishlist on php. Didn't made owned games checker though (not that it hard, I just never needed it).
The problem is... I'm not any good in php - actually, I don't know it at all. So it's slow and not optimized at all. And I don't have appropriate hosting for this piece of software. I'm using free hosting for my needs now, but I'm afraid if I share it here - it would be down in a blink of an eye.

It's not very actual - it shows data for last users sync. When I used my tool last time there were obvious differences between it and sg wishlist page.

Hi. I don't mean to necro, but wanted to point anyone interested to my userscript which checks group ownership for games. Future versions will (probably) also include wishlist checking. (No for sure promises on this point, sorry...)

(Edit: wishlist checking will be a thing)
