No contribution value when gifted a game for 50 points

I gifted this one: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/9nyL5/hitman-the-complete-first-season-prologue-episode-1-6-bonus-episode but it didn't give me any contribution credit. What's up with that? Perhaps its taking a while for the system to acknowledge it.

Free games dont give any CV.
take notice before gifting a game, free games are marked with "** No value towards your contributor level."

On the create giveaways page there's this little text below the "Select a Game" box:

  • Reduced value towards your contributor level.
    ** No value towards your contributor level.

Reduced value means it's been bundled before, no value means it's been free.

Here people are still mad as hell that people took the keys just to trade/sell/gift for CV (lol nope) and you're posting about expecting to be rewarded for giving away a key. That's pretty brave :s
