I have noticed I have Steam Trading Card Beta Access - Extra Copy in my inventory, but has no idea what it does. So, is there somebody, who can answer me? If it is good to activate or nah?

It's worthless, except if you're a weird collector. xD

It was awarded back when trading cards were just about to release to the public. It's a beta access that you received. I used to have Steam Mobile Betas too.

They just stay in your inventory, they never expire, even though the trading cards are long out of beta.

Not personally, but look in the popular trading sites or just search on Steam Trades 😺

In reply to your question, I believe that if you try to activate the gift it will not even let you redeem (since the Beta is long over).

Check first, but I also think your inventory should probably indicate that it is not marketable anymore. As Shanti and Shamrock have stated, the only purpose at the time should be collecting or trading. Since current value should not be considerable (look around with Google, just for safety's sake), I'd say collecting... seems at least fun as a token to show time on Steam ^^
