Oops! There was a typo in the first version, sorry for that! One square (5th from left, 8th from top) was wrong, and has been corrected! Not sure if that was what you meant (the incorrect solution simply led nowhere, not to a region-restricted page), but thanks for making me re-check it anyway!

Don't start guessing and jumping to conclusions! Make some observations first! Are there any clearly identifiable regularities?! Are there any suspicious or interesting bits?! What are the numbers of various things?! Et cetera!

But if you mean history as “the history of mankind”, then no, this is no well-known, common kind of cipher! :-)

I am wondering if you could confirm that I am on the right track. In the original puzzle, you stated that "The 'code' part has 10 characters!" In this revived puzzle, is the code length 7 characters?

The reason is simple! :-) Advanced hints are given to people who show they deserve them by solving at least something! And in any case, as chour has shown, it can be solved with no hints at all! Just make some observations, possibly write them down on paper, and it will start making sense and clicking together!
Also, I've been giving less advanced hints to everyone, all the time! And I still am! Even now! And again! Again! ;-)

I got one hint from the old puzzle and one hint from here, I have a clear message that fits the requisites from the first puzzle, but I still don't have a way to explain why I have all that :| Some day before the deadline I will try it again.

Yeah, perrolijo is right, it's unfair and unnecessary :P. You could provide public hints in a way that only the ones that got to a certain point in the puzzle would be able to understand them.

Of course it's unnecessary, there didn't need to be any puzzle at all! Bad, bad puzzle creator, for communicating with the solvers making progress, and not inventing some convoluted method of answering a yes/no question publicly, while still making the answer readable only to some people!

Well, it's still solvable! You'll just get to the giveaway and find it closed, but you'll know if the solution was correct! :-) (You can even solve the bottom part, which leads to an even older closed giveaway!)
Also, why the heck am I ending all my sentences with exclamation marks?!

I don't think there'll be a huge difference if chuckie001 makes a new "code" or connects the current one to a new giveaway.
But yes we do need some incentive to solve it be it a giveaway or just a challenge to be the first solver.
So if chuckie is listening let's make a link there.

Halp! A necromancer came and revived one of my old, unsolved puzzles! With exclamation marks! Now the puzzle is restless and wanders around in its tomb! Will you be able to raid the tomb and finally solve it?!
