Do you like it or play on PC?
After watching Tim Rogers' hilarious one hour review Death Stranding, I realized I'm not into Hideo Kojima enough to buy this game.

Seeing it on Steam took me by surprise for sure. Wishlisted it and would like to get it on Steam, but I'm still gonna see if I'll get to play it on PS4 first since avoiding spoilers until 'summer 2020' is gonna be a challenge. :D

I like JIm review of this one. It is obvious he does not enjoy this partcel-delivery-simulator. But says that it will be enjoyable for people who loves to manage million things and have really realistic gameplay.
If I'd have game about delivering packages and my boots would get broken with time - fist thing I'd check before buying would be if there is mod for indestructible shoes.

It sounds like the ability to build roads will be one of the most satisfying parts of the game.

Except they erode and degrade and will disappear... Basically this game hates you

Going to be a very divided game.... this is basically the star wars prequels of video games.... what happens when you give a creator FULL freedom, and all YES men

I've watched some streams of it and I have to say the story and cutscenes are very intriguing and well done. But the gameplay looks very dull. It's basically fetch quest after fetch quest and you run at a snail's pace and there's some lackluster stealth thrown in. There are annoying and pointless mechanics like constantly keeping your balance while running when carrying loads of cargo on your back and peeing (yes really).
I think this would have made a far better movie than game. I really was fascinated by the story and what all was going on. But I don't know if I could endure the gameplay.
Also please don't pre-order games. It will almost always end in disappointment for you and it encourages shitty behavior from publishers.

The story is good as long as you do not try to think about it. Like how did they manage to build new cities and automated complexes without any roads leading to them. Somehow I doubt the crematory in the tutorial chapter was built by lugging its 25-meter chimney on top of the mountain by hand. But there are no roads leading to it.
The entire game is full of these inconsistencies and unexplained events. Then again, it is typical Kojima, most people do not even care to bother with his glaring plot holes.
