Are you using Adblock Plus by any chance? Cause I've seen some people mention that they've had issues with it and mine has been acting up a bit lately as well. I've seen people recommend using uBlock Origin rather than Adblock Plus or Adblock. So maybe give that one a try to see if it works for you.

im using AdBlock, not the Adblock plus (its two different extension right?). whoa, i tought that it is my chrome got some virus inside, i mean, ive never had any issues with it before, even that im using the free version. Ill try that one out

Yeah, I've been using Adblock and Adblock Plus but they both seem to be experiencing some issues now so I've switched to using uBlock Origin as well and haven't had any issues anymore since.

I'm using Ublock origin and getting the white screen skip ad problem after the last Firefox update too though.

I get that screen more often now but I just skip. And as Hopanda has said, maybe it's time to change to another blocker.

I know about three weeks ago I noticed at work it still played ads even when I had adblock plus. But I havent had any problems at home and Im using the same.

hi, is AdBlock for chrome extension no longer be able to block ads on youtube?
it never happened before, but now i often get a blank page ads on youtube before i can play the video
is it the problem with the AdBlock or my chrome got infected by virus?
