Person who won my gift already has the game in their Steam account

Hi

I created a gift for ORION: Dino Horde and once a winner had been decided I added them on Steam. I am unable to send the gift to them as they already own it. So I came back to SteamGifts and requested a reroll of the winner. It is now day 6 and there has been no progress and I am worried. What is the process here? It says, awaiting user response. From who? Wouldn't it be the admins that check his account then let the reroll happen? What does it mean by user, as I can't see anything I can do, and I do not understand why he would need to do anything.

I do not want to get in trouble for not having given the game away on the 7th day. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

If you requested a new winner - just wait. Mods have a large queue.

Yes, it's up to the admins to "authorize" a reroll. THey may be swamped with other things sadly.

If you get negative feedback. They can correct that. Don't panic

you can bump your re-roll-request-ticket in the support section.

the mods have a lot to do, your ticket probably got burried.

Because if you read my post, you would see that I do not understand the process, as I haven't been through this before, and I wanted to confirm if there was anything else I needed to do.

There's no trouble for not delivering a game. Consider that each rule has its own level of importance, so not delivering the game is more important than the 7 day rule.

Make sure that the person actually owns the game. There was a free weekend a week ago and that makes Steam think they have the game even if they don't

You wait, mods will take care of it. Even if 7 days pass with no response, they will remove any negative feedback from your account. They are quite busy.

Orion Dino Hord is tricky. There was a free week that ended a while ago I think and I had 3 copies that I tried to gift to some friends, 1 of them was able of receiving it, the other two couldn't and steam kept saying they already had it even though I KNOW they didn't.
