my paranoid possibility is that csgo players are leechers that always try to get as much as possible from everything and won't low the prices (plus there are no russian traders to help decrease the prices of the keys now)
as a csgo player I consider myself a leecher as well :P

Well, can someone explain me why would anyone buy a key from market while you can buy this in-game for Valve's price which is lower?

they are trade locked for 7 days in both market and in-game purchases now
but if the price is high it means that people still buy from market, which should be related with a bug that I had a few months ago that locked my in-game purchases on all games and had to contact steam support 3 times to solve this problem (maybe more)
