I miss the first Big Bang Theory seasons, the newer ones aren't as good in my subjective opinion. The first ones focused more on "nerdy" stuff and not on interpersonal relationship issues.

I never could stand even the earliest seasons. No match for the nerdiness of The IT Crowd IMO

Yes, The IT Crowd was way more nerdy than The Big Bang Theory, I guess the latter was created to reach a wider range of viewers than the first one. But it's also true that it's been losing its essence through time, the few first seasons were far better than the last ones.
