I demand at least 10 more goals. It's getting boring. You have spoiled us Germany and now ten minutes without a goal?! What a shame.

I predict Brazil will win with 6-5.

All 6 goals by Fred.

Wait for it.

why does everybody hate him so much?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Because you see him in the lineup, you watch the game, the game ends, you watch the after match handshakes etc, you see Fred and think "Hah, did he actually play today?! Didn't notice that..."
The only time he was noticeable, was the game against Croatia, where he did that dive (and this was the only thing he did in that game) and got a penalty for it.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

To be fair, he's not that bad of a player, but he's not good enough for Brazil, which is why some Brazilian fans dislike him. He is also hated for his dive vs Croatia in the first game of this World Cup.

I feel bad watching this. All the people in the favelas, this WC has probably been one of the best things that ever happened in their lives. And this is harsh.

I think they would have preferred receiving the money that was used for the WC.

They announced throughout the stadium for German fans to remain in their seats. They are to be escorted by security/police so that nothing untoward happens to them.

Sums up just what poor sport, lousy losers the brazilian fans are, that they booo the Germans and now are a threat to the fans. No class, any of them.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The Brazilian boo'd Brazil, not Germany...
Look at all the photos being posted now of Brazilian fans burning Brazil's flag, Germany seems to come out in ease.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I agree that it seemed like they were booing the Brazilian team as they were leaving the field. With a beatdown like that, it would be awfully hard to blame Germany. They even took their foot of the gas for a huge chunk of the game. They did everything they could short of sitting down and scoring own goals.

When you lose by 6 goals, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Permalink

Two missing players and the whole game changes.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Silva had no one to blame but his own dumbass. And Brazil still fielded 11 players. Missing two stars makes a decent excuse for losing, but not for getting curb-stomped at home.

I dont see how having Neymar help Brazil's defense, lol. With neymar, they'd still allow 5+ goals anyway.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If Neymar was in the game, at least then maybe we would've been treated to a shootout. How awesome would it have been if the final score had been 7-5?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

That's just a dream. Neuer was way to good. And this time the ref was doing a good job. Even without Neymar the Brazilians tried to get penalties all the time. It was a joke, so they did deserve to lose. It just showed that the Brazilians had too much luck on their side along the tournament.

After I saw Germany slaughter Portugal, they were my pick to win it all. Not exactly picking a longshot, I know, but my national squad knowledge was pretty low coming into the World Cup. I could only judge on what I actually saw happen in the World Cup, not what people have accomplished on their professional teams or how good they're supposed to be.

Permalink

Brazil definitely booed brazil. They were applauding when Schurle scored.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Eventually, the fans realized that their team was completely lost and to just enjoy the offensive clinic that Germany was putting on. They were watching history happen, so they might as well enjoy it.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Tbh, they probably just wanted to embarrass their team even more as they probably were feeling let down by their performance.
