So my friend asked me, if I could share my account with him ( yes I know him in person, so my account is not in risk). I did it over TeamViewer, and a few minutes later he messaged me, that he can't find Dying Light. Even if he searches for it's name, he can't find it. I haven't found any trace that DL would be excluded from Family Share, so I don't know what to do. Have this happened to you too? Also I bought DL, when the RU 4-pack glitch was going on. Maybe that is the problem? I mean it is ROW, and I didn't use any kind of VPN, but has a RU tag in the description.

sure, why not?

I live in the north of my country, my bro in the south and we both use family share. So i guess it is also allowed to you too as long as you live in the same region (i.e. EU)

Games that require a third party EULA or DRM cannot be shared through family sharing.

Look here http://store.steampowered.com/promotion/familysharing?l=english

It says this:

Can all Steam games be shared with friends and family?
No, due to technical limitations, some Steam games may be unavailable for sharing. For example, titles that require an additional third-party key, account, or subscription in order to play cannot be shared between accounts.

And Dying Light requires that as you can see here

From the EULA you agreed to:

2. Copying of the Program

The User may not copy the Program and the documentation related to it. Moreover, the User may not, in any way, share, distribute, or publicly display the Program without the prior written consent of Techland.

People who want access to their games and to not be banned for breaking it. EULA's aren't that long.

...they aren't that long. It only says 124 pages because in that window it only shows a very limited amount of text. If it was all on 1 page in a full browser window, it wouldn't take me more than 5-10 minutes to read it, depending on length.

Also, search functions exists if you are only looking for specific information in it, so there is no excuse.
I looked up Rockstar's EULA earlier today due to all the "OMG I GOT BANNED FOR USING MODS" bullshit and it only took me 5 minutes to read, top to bottom.

Also, here is the EULA for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Took me less than 4 minutes to read in full. You can find it on the game's Store Page, pictured below.

I love reading. If my eyes land on text, I read it. I don't care what it is. Call it weird, but that's just how I am. I guess that explains why I tend to gravitate towards forums.

You seem to be the rare exception to the rule then. People don't read EULA's and (understandably) don't want to.

Personally, I'd rather watch paint dry =P

+1 I feel that NerdHouse will be the only one, who won't be transformed into a human centipede, once publishers add it to the EULA :P

The only reason I even read these is because they were the subject of discussion today. I do not seek out EULAs on my own volition simply just to read them. I need to have a reason to before doing so.
Rockstar's from the mod banning fiasco earlier, and CoD: AW from this thread.

Also, Roloca, there's no need to be rude.

I'm not rude, you are just eccentric :D Most people doesn't read EULAs, because we know that it is legal shit, and even if we would understand them, they can transform it to anything they want, so it doesn't matter.
Sorry if I sounded rude, I didn't mean to :)

Thanks for the answers! I have one more question: Since I bought Dying Light from a RU 4-pack, but the gift itself was ROW and I didn't use any kind of VPN to activate nor to play it, I didn't violate the Steam ToS did I? If I will ever have a problem with my account, and support looks at it, they won't punish me, since I didn't use VPN to activate it, right?

If there was an issue, they would block your profile, remove game or do something already.
So.. you're fine.

https://steamdb.info/sub/59557/

This package is only purchasable in specified countries

Russian Federation, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Republic of, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine

Because it has regional restriction, it can't be family shared outside those regions. Unlike gift activation, family sharing counts as 'purchase' restriction wise.
